Sulphur based autotrophic denitrification process used to remove nitrate from drinking water and will be commercialized by Yeditepe Aritma for the denitrification of wastewater.

Many package treatment systems can do classical carbon and carbon-nitrification. However, there is not a package system that can remove nitrogen with sulphur based autotrophic denitrification.

During the testing period, it is determined that the system works with high COD reduction, high nitrification and denitrification efficiencies.
